This meets data folks where they are, I've used phrases like "Show value" , "What's the ROI" but this is much better phrasing for people in the field. Thank you Taylor!
I think it's just an honest reflection of relative status and utility within an organization. The business will function without a data team, but it likely won't thrive. So act accordingly!
